Context RELAMPING FOR GREATER EFFICIENCY

Vetroresina has been producing fibreglass-reinforced polyester resin laminates since 1960. The company’s great operational capacity is the result of painstaking research in the field of composite materials combined with the study and continuous improvement of processing techniques.

The entire 46,000-square-metre production area was relamped – more than 1,500 2x58 luminaires were replaced with the Buran model, providing savings of 300,000 kWh/year.

Solution
The inspection lines benefited from the improved quality of the optical diffusers utilised in the Buran model. In addition, the optics system made of opalised polycarbonate maximised the efficiency and visual comfort of the relamped environment.
